About Debra
Founder and Program Facilitator
Hi, I’m Debra,
I'm thrilled to share our story with you.
First and foremost, I am the proud mum of three incredible daughters who all faced different challenges including social anxiety, performance anxiety, bullying and learning difficulties. I am also a qualified teacher with extensive experience in supporting the wellbeing of students.
My journey to founding Target Wellbeing was deeply rooted in personal experience. Seeking effective strategies to support my girls, I discovered programs such as Smiling Minds, and Small Steps and Peaceful kids. Witnessing remarkable success with my own children, I integrated these
approaches into my classrooms. The positive impact was profound, prompting me to expand these practices across school networks.
